About The Instructor
Eileen Dillon brings a rich international background and a deep commitment to accessible language learning. A graduate of Dennis Yarmouth High School, Eileen has called Cape Cod home since the second grade. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and later completed a master’s degree in Spanish at American University while living in Washington, D.C.
Her work with three international organizations took her throughout Latin America in the areas of development and election observation, experiences that deepened her passion for language, cultural exchange, and communication that bridges communities.
Since joining Cape Cod Tech in 2002, Eileen has taught both high school and adult education students, using her global perspective to make Spanish relevant, engaging, and empowering, particularly in vocational settings. Her teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are and supporting growth through meaningful, real world language use.
