Sewing – Learn to Sew with Confidence – Beginner – Youth

This course is for high school students who want to learn how to use a sewing machine and build skills one at a time until you learn to sew with confidence. Introduction to sewing machines covers techniques and set up. You will also learn to read and understand patterns. You must be able to bring your own portable sewing machine once a week to class. Sewing machines may be available to rent or purchase for an additional cost. A quality portable sewing machine is estimated to cost approximately $150. The additional cost of materials and tools is the responsibility of the students.
