Cosmetology
In this course, students are taught to develop their ability to create and design, using hair, skin and nails as their creative medium. Instruction is given in all areas of Cosmetology in order to earn 1,000 to take the Massachusetts’ State Board Licensing Exam. Course is being held in-person class in our fully equipped Cosmetology Shop. Instruction is given in all areas of Cosmetology. This includes styling, shaping, and coloring of hair; the use of skin products and makeup; and the care of nails. There is in-depth instruction in personal and professional health, decontamination and control, properties of the hair and all aspects of caring for hair, including cutting, coloring, as well as styling. Salon and Spa managment and related business practices are also included as part of the course.
